400-NY Polyamide 6
The Programma 400-Nylon polyamide 6 includes grab bars, shower seats and a wide range of bathroom accessories which give designer the opportunity to design accessibility without compromising between accessibility and beauty. The broad product range and the design, together with the wide variety of colors allows to create beautiful and accessible spaces for everyone. The polyamide 6 resin offers a pleasant touch and a comfortable temperature. The technical quality, combined with the non-porous polyamide resin surface and the absence of micro-splitting, ensures that it is sanitary, with the beauty and the benefit of colors.
POLYAMIDE 6
Polyamide 6 is a thermoplastic resin with high mechanical resistance, excellent toughness to impacts and high resistance to wear and abrasion. Classified as a self-extinguishing UL 94V-2 category, polyamide 6 it does not generate toxic gases, it is a safe material, hardly deformable and very durable.
LRV - LIGHT REFLECTANCE VALUE
LRV is based on a scale of 0:100: 0, which is a perfectly absorbing surface that could be assumed to be totally black, and 100, which is a perfectly reflective surface that could be considered to be the perfect white. The visual contrast is given as a difference in LRV between two surfaces. The perceptible information principles of the universal design state that the design has to communicate information effectively regardless of the environment conditions.
CYTOTOXICITY TEST
Testing the Cytotoxicity according to the DIN EN ISO 10993-5, 1999-11: only minimal cytotoxic compounds were extracted at 37°C. The extract of the test material reduced the cell growth to 80,97% of control. This is not statistically significant. Using the test material as described by the manufacturer no cytotoxic effects should be expected.

The Collection has an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD). An Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) is an ISO Environmental Declaration based on ISO 14025 and ISO 21930 standards. An EPD transparently reports the environmental performance of products or services from a lifecycle perspective. The preparation of an EPD includes different stages, from acquiring raw materials to the end of life of the final product. EPDs are based on international standards and consider the entire value chain. Additionally, EPD is a third-party verified document. The Declare Label is like a nutrition label for the building industry. It is a product transparency disclosure that lists the ingredients in products to help customers ensure healthier indoor living environments. RECYCLE
Polyamide- 6 and metal components are completely separable for recycle.
