LIFE-SAFETY HARDWARE

Single-Motion Unlatching Door Pull unlatches and opens the door with a single movement using the Activation Area. The Activation Area includes the Push Coupler in ECONYL® regenerated nylon and the Grip in powder coated aluminum or leather wrapped. The standard Push Coupler comes in black ECONYL® and the standard Grip comes in aluminum black powder coated or black leather wrapped. Special colors on request.

THE ACTIVATION AREA

The Activation Area includes the Push Coupler in ECONYL® regenerated nylon, the Upper Grip and the Lower Grip in powder coated aluminum or leather wrapped.

PULL FINISHES

Hand-crafted in corrosion-resistant AISI 316L stainless steel, the Single-Motion Unlatching Door Pull is available in a selection of satin, bright and powder coated finishes to suit an extensive range of tastes and interiors.

PUSH COUPLER IN ECONYL® REGENERATED NYLON

The Push Coupler is made of ECONYL® 100% regenerated nylon. The standard Push Coupler comes in black and white ECONYL®.

GRIPS IN POWDER COATED ALUMINUM

The standard Grip is made in black powder coated aluminum. On request it is available in powder coated finishes to match different profiles. The aluminum 6060 alloy has an excellent resistance to corrosion and to low temperatures, in addition to guaranteeing quality welding. In the design world, it is commonly used to create components with complex shapes allowing excellent quality results compared to other alloys for anodizing treatments.

GRIPS IN LEATHER WRAPPED ALUMINUM

The aluminum Grip is also available in genuine black leather wrapped. Certified to meet full cycle standards (UNI EN 16484) and Carbon Footprint certified (ISO 14067: 2018). On request a wide range of leather colors is available to combine the different interior shades.

PAIRED WITH TOP STRIKE WITH ROLLER

A gentle push on the exit side grip is all that is required to release the latch and open the door.

The use of the top strike with rollers provided by pba is mandatory.

TOP STRIKE WITH ROLLER

To ensure proper functionality, the Single-Motion Unlatching Door Pull should be paired with the pba "roller" strike plate provided with the product. The pba strike plate should be reviewed and approved by the design team for use with the intended demountable partition system. When required, custom brackets are available to adapt the pull to virtually any demountable partition system. For further details, please contact pba.

PAIRED WITH TOP ELECTRIC STRIKE

The Single-Motion Unlatching Door Pull is compatible with electric strikes, allowing the door to be opened by pulling the handle after swiping a card or using a keypad.

A compatible electric strike (not provided by pba) has to be used instead of pba’s standard strike with roller. Please refer to compatibility chart or contact pba.

UNIVERSAL BACK PLATE AND DOOR PREPARATION

The same door preparation is used for locking and non-locking pulls.

No need to specify the cylinder brand when ordering.

ADA ACTIVATION AREA

The Activation Area (Push Coupler and Grip) is operated by a force lower than 5 lbf (22 N) until the locking latch clears the strike (ADA 309.4 – Operable parts).

PUSH COUPLER IN ECONYL® REGENERATED NYLON

The Push Coupler is made of ECONYL® 100% regenerated nylon from waste such as fishing nets, old carpets destined for landfills, plastic components and fabric scraps from mills. As well as being a solution on waste, ECONYL® is also a better choice when it comes to climate change. It reduces the global warming impact of nylon by up to 90% compared with the material from oil.
