Artist-Motif Copper Laminates HPL (Unique Art Series)
Artist-Motif Copper Laminates HPL is an HPL cladding product
group that uses real copper on the surface and is patterned with motifs
developed by artists. The warm reddish tone of copper is processed through
natural polishing and finishing methods to create a clear copper character on
interior surfaces. The series features motifs designed with patina (copper
verdigris) effects, fine filigree-style detailing, and dynamic form
transitions.

Series Structure and Design Language
The Unique Art Series treats copper not only as a “metal
look” but as a design element shaped through motifs and surface work. Two main
expressions stand out in the motifs:
- Fine
ornamental lines (filigree-style approach)
- Fluid,
dynamic form flow (geometric or free-form lines)
This structure makes copper’s color and texture character
more readable on wall and furniture surfaces.

Processing and Application Notes
- Balancing
(Backer) Layer
For metal/copper-surfaced laminates, an equivalent balancing laminate/backer on the reverse side is required for panel stability. - Press
Temperature
Press temperature should be controlled. Excessive heat with metal-surfaced laminates may negatively affect surface character. - Adhesive
Selection and Cleanliness
Do not use adhesives contaminated with dust/particles. Foreign particles may cause point defects on the surface. - Press
Surface
Press plates must be clean and even. Potential sources of surface marking should be eliminated. - Cleaning
and Protection
Cleaning and protection routines for copper surfaces should be planned according to the application area and intensity of use.
